Salala Mobiles

Even the stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Nazimhave couldn't help the story telling. On a note, this movie turns out an average one.....

വളരെ റിഫ്രഷിംഗ് എന്നുതോന്നുന്ന പശ്ചാത്തലം, പുതുമയുള്ള പ്രണയജോഡികള്‍, നല്ല വിഷ്വലുകള്‍, ഒരു പ്രണയസിനിമയുടെ മൂഡ് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന പശ്ചാത്തലസംഗീതം, പൊട്ടിച്ചിരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒന്നു രണ്ടുരംഗങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിവ ഒഴിച്ചാല്‍ സിം കാര്‍ഡില്ലാത്ത ഫോണ്‍ പോലാണ് ഈ 'മൊബീലു' കട.

On the whole, Salala Mobiles is a good movie with a simple storyline.

Watchable, but incomplete.

Go for the movie if you would like to laugh and for Dulquer & Nazriya combo.

Films with no storyline are an insult to the grand literary heritage of Malayalam. It’s a shame that intelligent people who matter still encourage nonsense at the cost of starving, obscure writers with depth waiting desperately for someone to pick up their dream stories.

Produced by Anto Joseph with music scored by Gopi Sunder, Salala Mobiles fails to ring in the excitement and love of a young pair.

Unimpressive, weak script and story-line; Dulquer and Nazriya are good...

In short, I won’t recommend a recharge for you from Salala Mobiles. A hero smiling unaware of things happening around him is indeed a nice way to show romance. But for that you need to create an appealing romance on screen. 

Salala Mobiles may satisfy the diehard fans out there. Let Dulquer not join that list of star kids who fade away from the limelight after a couple of hits.

Silliness is a natural by-product of romance. However seldom does it hurt simply because of the beauty of the emotion from where it springs. Salala Mobiles is an instance of reverse-effect. So silly is the plot that its romance looks tiring, even frivolous.

All in all, this Salala Mobiles may not be of any sort of sure prescription for all, except for the die hard fans of the lead stars. Indeed this could be a warning for all wannabe film makers who are at the different stages of production - Without any workable stronger script, the technical finesse and saleble stars cannot warranty  a watchable stuff.

Salala Mobiles had many things going for it and if the movie didnt flourish despite that it boils down to a weak script and uninspiring direction. Dulquer fans could sit back and enjoy if expectations are kept to minimum. And for the discerning viewer it is a let down.

Sharath Haridaasan's 'Salala Mobiles' has an unimpressive display, a flawed processor and a skimpy cell life to boot. It's a bloated and uneven attempt at crafting a romance, that is a calamity the moment you switch it on. 

On the whole, Salala Mobiles disappoints big time. Go for the movie if you would like to laugh for some one-liners, and some pleasing BGM.

ഒരു സിനിമ മോശമാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടതിനു ശേഷം ആ സിനിമ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ സാധാരണ ഗതിയില്‍ നമ്മള്‍ അത്ര അസ്വസ്ഥരാകാറില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ മോശം എന്നത് നമ്മള്‍ മോശം എന്ന് കരുതിയ നിലവാരത്തേക്കാള്‍ മോശമാനെങ്കിലോ ? അതാണ് സലാല മൊബൈല്‍സ് !

ന്യൂ ജനറേഷന്റെ കത്തിക്കലുകളെല്ലാം കഴിയുകയാണെന്നതിന് ഒരു നല്ല തെളിവാകുന്നുണ്ട് സലാല മൊബൈല്‍സ്. പറയാന്‍ പുതിയതായി ഒന്നും തന്നെ ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു സംവിധായകന്റെ പാഴ്ശ്രമമായി മാത്രം കണക്കാക്കാം ഈ സലാലയെ.

മലബാര്‍ മേഖലയില്‍ ഉള്ള ഹോം വീഡിയോകള്‍ മാതൃകയാക്കിയാണ് സലാലാ മൊബൈല്‍സ് ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. കൃത്രിമത്വവും നാടകീയതയുമാണ് ഈ സിനിമയുടെ ആഖ്യാനസ്വഭാവം. അസഹനീയമാണ് ഈ സിനിമ. നിശബ്ദ പ്രണയത്തിന്റെ നീണ്ടകഥയങ്ങനെ നീളുമ്പോള്‍ കസേരകള്‍ മാത്രമാകും കാണികള്‍.

Salala Mobiles, written and directed by Sharath A Haridasan, a newcomer, with Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Nazim in the lead lacks even the basic ingredients of a love story.

There is no point in mincing words while talking about the first major release of the year, as this one could easily find a place among the worst films to have occurred in Malayalam during recent times.
